About TrainKothay — our mission
TrainKothay (ট্রেন কোথায়?) is a real-time train tracking platform for Bangladesh. We help commuters track their trains, check schedules and plan journeys across the whole Bangladesh Railway network.
Our mission is to make train travel in Bangladesh more transparent and predictable. Whether you are travelling from Dhaka to Chattogram, Rajshahi to Sylhet or anywhere in between, TrainKothay shows you where your train is and how it is running.

Data sources
Train data comes from Bangladesh Railway sources and community contributions. Live positions are refreshed continuously, and every page shows how recent its data is.
Open source
TrainKothay is an open-source project. Contributions from the community are welcome to improve the platform and help more people get reliable train information.
