Enter the train number or name in the search bar on the homepage, or browse the trains list. Open any train to see its live position, schedule and status.
How often is the data updated?
Live train positions are refreshed about every 30 seconds. Schedule data is synced daily from Bangladesh Railway.
What do the different train statuses mean?
Running: the train is on its way. Scheduled: it hasn't departed yet. Completed: it has reached its destination. Cancelled: the service is cancelled today.
Can I use this on my mobile?
Yes. TrainKothay works on every phone, and you can add it to your home screen for quick access. Android and iOS apps are also available.
Is the data accurate?
We use data from Bangladesh Railway systems, but delays or disruptions can occasionally affect accuracy. Always confirm important travel plans with official railway information.
Which trains can I track on TrainKothay?
All Bangladesh Railway trains — intercity, mail, express and commuter — across every division: Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Sylhet, Khulna, Rangpur, Barishal and Mymensingh.
